DH, two friends, and I have been accepted to race Furnace Creek 508. It is a 508 mile relay which goes from Santa Clarita, CA - Twenty-Nine Palms.
We applied, and secretly I was thinking we wouldn't make the cut. But we are IN!

I have a bunch of friends who do the race every year in all sorts of combos and bikes - solo, team, fixed, geared, etc. I signed up for it several years ago but had to withdraw because of a health issue and it hasn't really been compelling for me ever since.
