My sister has been playing that for a month or two and just loves it. Me, traffic scares me WAY more than zombies do.
You can do that in real life here in NW Oregon.

Would you choose to be a zombie or a survivor? This sounds like fun to me. We'll see if I have the guts to sign up when the time comes!
Um. No.
Roxy
I ran that this year. So did Susan. It was a lot of fun. Susan was a survivor, I was a zombie. Neither of us fared well! :p

That sound hilarious... I don't even run and it sounds like fun... (the 5K race that is)
I love zombies (seriously, my love for all things dead-reanimated is the stuff of legend) and I love running...but a $12 app?!
I wouldn't fare well either especially after reading:
Training tip 2: You don't have to be the fastest runner out there..just faster than the person next to you. Think reserves..keep a lil fuel left in the tank. That extra burst of speed could be the difference between having a medal around your neck or teeth marks..
Oh good, there are Aikido techniques for zombies :) because I don't run away very fast:

Basically, survivors wore flag belts (like for flag football) and zombies tried to get the flags. Survivors got a head start (I forget how long...5 minutes maybe?) and then they let the zombies go. A zombie could only take one flag from a survivor, but a zombie could take as many flags as they could carry. The super fast teenagers basically got all the flags. The only survivors I saw had long since been de-flagged. I don't know that any survivors made it to the end with both flags, but I could be wrong about that.
It was really well done though. Creepy sounds, smoke, military type guys and a twisting, varied cross-country type course including some parts through a corn field. There was some mud, but not too bad. I think I have a photo taken 'on course'... Yep - here I am over-taking a survivor at the muddiest part of the course.

Note to self: Do NOT use new running shoes when doing the Zombie Apocalypse run!
Looks like a lot of fun, Cat!
