No Tomato BBQ Sauce for Wings!

Gals,

I cannot believe I never looked this up. You will think the "tomato sauce" base is weird ingredients but it is delicious! So here are two recipes so you can make a BBQ sauce!

NoMato Sauce

6 carrots peeled and diced
1 can of beets drained, diced
1 large onion, diced
3 celery ribs, diced
1 bay leaf
1.5 cups of water

Put in a covered pot, bring to boil, and simmer until veggies are soft.
Take out bay leaf
Blend in Vitamix or food processor
salt and pepper to taste

Honey BBQ Sauce (use BBQ sauce or Nomato Sauce!)

3 lbs of chicken wings (16-18 wings)
salt and pepper
2 cups of honey (I used far less, so use to taste)
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup of BBQ sauce OR the Nomato Sauce
1/4 cup oil
2 cloves of minced garlic

Marinate them for as long as you want and then broil in the oven. Yum
