The 9'ers play next Saturday. it's the first time they've been in the playoffs in quite a while. Yes, I'm a fan but I"ll set the DVR and ride during the game just because I'm sure the streets will be my own.

What a fun way to get street time. :p
So tomorrow do we hve any TE'ers in Pittsburgh, Denver, Atlanta or New York? Post your ride pics here  Just stay out of the way of the half time run for more beer.
another good time to ride around here is New Years Day before noon. Totally deserted, even the freeway. plus it was a beautiful day. Didn't have time for a long ride but did et in a toodle through the local (empty) streets.
marni
Humnh. I got home from my run just in time to watch my Bengals lose.
I'm so sorry. We'll do this next year for you. Detroit's pulled within 3 of the Saints  bet if any TE'ers are there the streets are yours for the jogging.
Sorry to hear that your SI is cranky because if not you could ski like this on the Denver streets today :)

It's half-time, the game is close. I can't take the stress and went for a ride. The plan was to head for a nearby coffee shop where I could watch the end. But as I came towards the bike bridge I saw 3 riders from ALC (AIDS Lifecycle) and stopped to say hi.
We chatted and I decided to turn back. After all the mutt and I had a long morning walk, I'd walked and jogged at the track between errands so I'm good for the day.
As I crossed this 6 lane street on the way home it was eerily empty. I could hear the blimp across the bay.
Raleighdon is stuck in front of the TV... we need to leave... It's like pulling teeth. stupid football game.
He can go now. Go 9'ers ;)
but where is the brain bucket?? :p
watching those skis sending sparks from underneath made me cringe!! So it was super bowl ?? Have no clue as usual. Guys made fun of me one year when I said it was so eerie going to the grocery store and seeing empty shelves where bags and bags of chips once sat and no beer in the refrigerated section. Then all of sudden bunch of guys came running in split into two groups, one went to the empty shelves and grabbing whatever was left and we watched as the second group grabbing large boxes of beer. And they were gone!! It was half time...
I'll never understand.
Nah, it's just the play offs.
Same thing went on here, with the Patriots. I made the mistake of going grocery shopping at around 4 PM, when everyone was in a frenzy buying wings and other junk food at the store. Usually, we go out to really nice places that are hard to get into on these play off nights, but we had been in Boston on Friday night, so we chilled and watched a movie. DH put the game on after the movie, but only for a little bit.
It was amusing to see how Tebow's "praying," etc. played here in New England.
Not so well. I'll never understand why sports figures feel the need to attribute their victories to G-d and shove their brand of religion down our throats. I am not anti-religion, but I just don't think it should be part of sports.
Stolen from FB, kinda cracked me up.
