Are there any problems with mounting a SH51 or SH56 cleat to this generation of Sidi's road shoe? Do I need an adaptor?
I have to set up one pair of shoes for spin class and I've never used Shimano cleats.
Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure that the 4s required an adaptor. My previous Sidis needed the adapter, but I can't remember if they were 3s or 4s... My current ones are 5s and do not need the adapter. Clear as mud, right? ;)
Do you have a picture of the sole?
Ha! :) The hubby and I just had a heated, er, discussion about whether he could just take the damn shoe to the shop with him. Apparently, men can't do this (like asking for directions).
He gave all sorts of convoluted arguments about how the staff won't have been there long enough (30 years isn't enough?) or they'll just go look at the shoes on the wall (what, you don't trust my research that the soles have changed?). I do agree that this shop has had staff that didn't know what they were talking about but we know now who to just side step.
I do love him . . . .
I don't know the answer to your question, SK. I just wanted to say "hi." I don't see you too much on the boards. I hope you and DH are well!
Thanks, Becky, but unless it is in the next couple hours it'll be too late. Class is at 5:45 am tomorrow.
Not quite sure how I'l get the cleats adjusted before class. Guess I'll just wing it based on the location of the Look cleats.
