Our new dog, fresh from the local humane society. She's sweet and mellow, except where squirrels are involved. And my cats are taking it better than I thought they might-- no one has run off and hid. Two of them greeted her with hisses, but they've moved on to being cautiously curious. The third was exchanging butt-sniffs within just an hour!

Congratulations Skhill on your new addition to the family. Although my kitties definitely voted the dog off the island when she joined the family, they got over it and were friends for years. Now they're all romping across the Rainbow Bridge.

We're up to 2 cats that are getting over it, at least when Stella is lying down. The other cat is still sulking... It's great seeing Stella relax, she's more playful and bouncy every day, as she feels more secure in her new home.
I'm going to have to get a new camera!
