Maybe I should ride my bike to the Halloween party tonight. :)
I dressed up as an Octoberfest zombie for parties on Friday and Saturday. Got an old ren faire bodice and a pretty green dress, and sacrificed a floor length petticoat from a ridiculous wedding a few years ago. Cut it in half and bam! I'm a fraulein. Add some makeup, and double-bam! I'm an undead fraulein. I even had a giant beer tankard.
However, that bodice is sooooo tight. Would it be weak just to be a biker zombie tonight?
I was a graduate zombie for a zombie run on Saturday, but today I'm a prom zombie. My group at work all dressed up and we just finished doing the thriller dance (briefly) in the cafeteria. Oy.
My dress is shredded and covered with soot and blood but you can get a basic idea here:

We did a haunted trail run and I was Miss Pacman and DH was one of the ghosts. They actually turned out really well but I don't have any pictures!!! DD wants me to wear my costume tonight trick or treating but . . . I don't know. It's covered in mud from the race ;)

Sadly, no. I sort of forgot it was Halloween. :rolleyes: My professor did do the zombie make-up. It scared half the grad students because most of them aren't American and aren't really familiar with Halloween. They thought he'd been in a horrible accident.
I did ride today, though. :)
GLC, I'm not sure which was your intention was but I found myself both laughing and eewww-ing at the same time. I liked it!

Meh. I'm probably the only one who thinks Halloween is strictly for kids.
One of my most fun work Halloweens was the year I worked with a big company that had just brought on about 75 people from India, mostly recent college grads. They were there training on a long-term basis and were going to go back after a year and work with offshore teams.Quote:

The company had a tradition of different teams doing whole themed costume and decoration dealeos. The folks from India, who were integrated into the different teams, really got into it! It was fun explaining the whole concept, then convincing the onshore/offshore people that they should definitely participate, then planning things with them, then actually going to work and being dressed up and doing skits. It was especially cool knowing that for most of the guys and gals from India, it was the first time they had done that.

I don't know if I should be concerned that my office director knew right away that it was me. Apparently, I AM that kind of employee, that you expect to show up at work dressed as a large bird. :)
My co-workers seemed to think the best part would have been if I rode my bike to work wearing this. I may have to get someone to quickly take a pic of me on my bike in the costume. Without me doing much riding what with the whole not being able to see very well thing.
