UnderArmor makes them, I believe. You might have to order them, though, since I don't recall ever seeing them in stores.
Skins also does womens compression shorts in three different styles/lengths.

I have women's compression shorts from UnderArmour, Danskin, Jockey, New Balance, and Saucony.
My favorites are the UnderArmour, which come in 3 or 4 different lengths and cost $25-$30. Very silky, don't ride up, don't make your legs look like sausages.
Try Meijer for the UnderArmour.
Looks like TE has about 7 or 8 different brands of women's compression/running shorts, too. They are sprinkled through-out these pages of running shorts: http://www.teamestrogen.com/search.e...ance-desc&pn=1
Thanks, SusanO! :p
I bought my UA compression shorts at D i c k's sporting goods so I would guess that most big box athletic stores would carry them.
snork so you go to D I C K ' s?????
sorry that still cracks me up.
I suppose I could have typed it D1ck's or Dlck's....stupid filter.
UA Active. I like the longer 7-9 in ones. They don't ride up.
For real compression there's CW-X. They're longer, pretty much knee length on my short legs, and priced like technical gear.
My favorite compression-style shorts are adidas, but both styles I really like are discontinued. Figures.
I have purchased UA women's compression shorts from my local Sports Authority. I too, prefer the longer 7-inch version. I wear a pair underneath my capri workout pants at the gym...I like the extra thigh support they offer, as it cuts down somewhat on the dreaded "thigh jiggle".

The ones I run in are the Ventilators. (Why are they so much higher?!) If I'm wearing knee-length shorts on a 20-miler (which it's mostly the longer runs I wear those for) on a 90° day, I want as much ventilation as possible! But I love my CW-X. The Ventilator tights are what I ran in on Sunday. :)
+2 on the CWX.
I have SKINS, 2XU. CW-X is by far the most compressive fit. Ran in them on Sunday. Love them and I will get more.
