Total Knee Replacement
Dear friends,
Need your advise.
I had a TKR 2 months ago ,am recovering well ,but still flexion is 110,and stiffness is there. I rode a bike in childhood and want to resume now. Please advise which bike is best for me ?and where do I get a bike that can be used both outdoors and indoors it can be placed on a stand and function as a recumbent bike.
Thank you,
Amy

Fit is going to be super important for you, so if your PT doesn't do bike fitting, have her/him refer you to an experienced fitter. Do that BEFORE you start bike shopping, so they can steer you in the direction of bikes most likely to fit with the fewest (least expensive) modifications. (If you're okay with letting us know what general area you live in, some TE'rs might have a line on a good fitter for you.)
Recumbent bikes have different frames from upright types, so you won't be able to have it one way indoors and the other way outdoors. I'm sure there are indoor trainers that will work with recumbents, but not all will - hopefully some of the 'bent riders here will chime in on that.
Welcome to TE!
