Quisp and Quake

This summer I saw "Quisp" jersey during a triathlon. Americans my age (45) might remember them--they were characters from a cereal company when we were little. Quisp was a little Martian-type alien, and Quake was some he-man type guy. There was a constant rivalry between them...OK, I know it was pretend. Though I did prefer Quisp, and my dating life has borne out this early preference.

Anyway....anybody ever seen such a jersey?

In the same race, I saw a Ho-ho's jersey. You know, the Hostess snack cake? I love the irony in that. From a distance, it looks like lovely little swirls. But as I passed, I realized it was ho-ho's! I guess we know what he was carbo loading with! Yes, it was a guy!

That Quisp jersey though.... :D L.

It's Pearl Izumi, but so far I can't find who sells it.

I did a search on Google for

Pearl Izumi quisp jersey

and came up with what may be some possibilities. I didn't try to order, so I don't know if the jersey is in stock - and I've never bought from these vendors, just a lucky search result.

I may be wrong but I thought I saw that jersey in a Performance flier :confused: I have seen/and do remember Quist. I think the jersey has been out there for awhile. I just found out that Nashbar/Performance is carrying my alum jersey from Boston College :D Oh the wonderful things you learn when your not working!!

Get on Pearl Izumi's website and look up their outlet stores. If you call one, I think they can see on their computer who has these jerseys. They were previous years' models.

The Quisp Jersey was a piece we had in the Spring of 2003. It came in men;'s and women's cuts. Men's were short-sleeved, women's were sleeveless. That was the only season Pearl made it. It was a huge hit. If you can actually find a shop with one is stock, you'd better snap it up, because there can't be many left out there for sale!
