Oh boy...
Well, I hope it's nothing, but will soo enough know... I've been fearful that something serious was going on with my shoulder. For three weeks it's been bothering me, right after my bike crash, but I tried to ignore it hoping would get better. It's not.
Going to the doc I the morning to see wha he says, which likely means some tests or diagnostic. I have some weakeness/pain when trying to lift, but no pain what so ever when at rest, but I do have an odd sensation and crunching when rotating the joint the certain ways. I'm hoping it's not a torn rotator cuff.
Oy.

oh no. Fingers crossed that whatever it is is easily diagnosed and readily fixed.

Eeeek....hope you get good news, and keep us posted.

After my recent crash and injury I am even more sympathetic to those who have been injured! Good luck. I hope you get nothing but good news. Let us know what you find out.

Still in a holding pattern for a few weeks. Doc says I have good range of motion and actually good strength in the arm, but does think I have some tendinitis in the shoulder, so I'm on RX anti-inflammatory med for the next two weeks. If that does not help, I've got a referral to an Orthopedic sports medicine place locally, and take it from there.

Keeping fingers crossed that the meds will fix it!

Wishing you a speedy recovery from your shoulder pain. Crashes, accidents and the like are no fun and really cramp a persons style. It's hard when it's your routine to go out and ride at will to be confined or to be kept from doing what you long for. Sympathy for you...:(

Here's hoping the anti-inflammantory works and you are back to full strength soon. Having crashed this morning, I'm not looking forward to what aches and pains may show up over the next few hours. Shoulder already bothering me a bit.

Fingers crossed that the anti-inflammatories will do the trick. I hope you're ok too, Cynedra.

Too bad but maybe you are on the mend. I hope you get to feeling better soon and the trip to the ortho doc isn't necessary. Take care of yourself.
