I like it, just don't like it for 5 months out of the year. Hence the reason I moved to the south. Of course now if it snows everything gets shut down.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ I am not ready for winter (whimper)
Oh...you are in Colorado...whew, it will be a little longer for us :)
I, on the other hand, am looking forward to fall/winter because soon I won't have to get up at the crack of dawn so I can ride!
Nope...you'll be getting up BEFORE dawn!
Kidding. But it was awfully dark when the alarm went off for my run last Saturday morning. YUCK.
(and I'm freezing right now. I think it's 56 degrees out - and in. I need my space heater! And the sleeveless twin six jersey I wanted just came in so it better warm back up again for at least one day...)
Wow do we live in different parts of the world. Where I am we are experiencing cold front, cuz the highs this week are in the 90s instead of 100s!
Saturday it was 100 degrees. Today it is supposed to reach 65
I've a campsite reserved this weekend, am hoping the rain doesn't continue. It hasn't been a substantial rain however so I doubt it is going to impact the trails much at all, especially as dry and hot as it has been. Thankfully they drain very well, outside of Pine Loop.
If this continues I will be in spinning class tonight for the first time in a LONG time! My body isn't ready yet to ride in drizzle, windy, <70 degree temps :o
Winter? We haven't broken 100F all summer and it looks like we are now on track to do so this weekend. Summer decided to come VERY late for us this year!
For me, the first sign of winter was this: http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=44796
I saw the first poppy yesterday. It's spring!
I wore leggings under my dress yesterday...
But, today is going to be 75-80.
I love fall.
I'M SO PEEVED! We had a huge hail storm at our house yesterday and it stripped all the leaves off of all my plants, including my vegetable garden. Argh, just when we get the best of our harvest in this short season climate
You just can't win for losing when you garden in Flagstaff
