MapMyRide bug, and workaround

There's a bug in MapMyRide that causes downloaded routes to contain literally thousands of waypoints. The files are so big that Garmin computers cannot process them. This is occurring regardless of when the route was originally drawn.

They are reportedly working on a fix, but in the meantime, the "old" version of the site is still up and seems to work fine.

I still go back to the old version frequently - I just have less trouble with it. I don't use a Garmin but this sounds like something they better fix, and pretty quickly...
