I won!!!
My DH & I attended the 3rd of three Tour de France parties hosted by Carmichael Training Systems here in Tucson. There have been trivia contests every week, with gift certificates from local bike shops and restaurants.
Tonight's question: Estimate for the number of calories an average rider would burn during the entire Tour de France.
A slight underestimate (5000 calories per day) multiplied by the wrong number of days (23 instead of 21) plus a slight fudge factor gave me 110,000. Guess what- the real answer was 112,000, based on a study by a Spanish doctor, and I was closest.
What did I win? A 3-D bike fit at the Carmichael Center! Woohoo!! :D I can't wait.

Very cool! Are they based there in Tucson or is that a satellite office?

Roxy,
Carmichael has 3 locations, but I think the main one is in Colorado Springs, one is in Tucson and one is in the Blue Ridge Mtns. in N. Carolina
Here is the info about the 3-D bike fit:

I don't think my luck would hold with the lottery... but I will make my appointment soon. I got a pretty good fit when I bought the Ruby in March, but I just love the idea of getting the hi-tech input as well.
