Fun with an iMac-sped-up climb video
My mother just replaced her late-2006 model iMac with a new one, so when I visited her last week she gave me the old one. It had Snow Leopard on it and she still had the disks, so I erased and reinstalled the operating system and took out the extra 2 GB of RAM that was causing lockups (this model only supports up to 3 GB). Now it runs much faster and better, so I had a little fun with the other three sufferfest climbs from last Sunday's ride that I didn't include in the video I posted here.
I already uploaded normal-speed versions of these climbs back in April and May, so I try not to show the same roads twice unless there's something different, like a conversation with another rider, or in this case a 4x speed version of the climbs.
This is Chili Hill Road, Bald Hill Road, and Baxter Grade Road, between Newcastle and Auburn in Placer County, CA.
Since iMovie doesn't mute the audio when you change the speed of the video, you get to hear me sounding like a puppy. :D
