Dog Training Books
Jens, our 9 week old schnauzer, is becoming quite a challenge. I didn't have many problems with Heidi, my 10 year old schnauzer, so I didn't think about how hard puppies are. Jens is a chewer, a biter, he steals everything, is a bit stubborn, is not crate or housebreaking well, he terrorizes the cat and the other dog. He will definitely need a little more work than Heidi did. Are there any books or websites to help me? I may take him to classes but they are not a good fit on times (immediately after work and I have a 40 minute commute to get him).

I found her exact examples rather annoying, and kept thinking to myself "but mine..."
but, this book is generally loved by others in my dog training club and I suspect I got more out of it than I thought I did

there are many other books, I have a stack of them at home. But, that is the #1 book recommended by my fellow trainers.

I haven't read this one, but I've heard very good things about John Bradshaw.

I love Patricia McConnell's work! You can't go wrong there.
I would also add this book by Ian Dunbar for a training book.
I really like this book by Suzanne Clothier for relationship and personality insights. It really changed the way that I interact with my dog when it comes to things that he dislikes or fears.
