If needed, they also work as a Ninja weapon! :D
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I haven't tried them.
OMG - I must have these. I didn't even know they existed. High beams, begone!
I have enough trouble finding bras that fit, let alone with padding so I can wear them under t-shirts. I think these discs could be a real problem-solver.
I want to buy them from Sylene, which is a local store where the sales staff has been very helpful in the past. It will be a couple of weeks before I'm able to get there, though.
Fancy pasties!
I've used bandaids before... but I don't hhave a lot to cover...
Normal bras with good padding to protect against this are the body by victoria at victorias secret. Might be too much padding for some. But definitely one of my favorite bras.
That's my two cents.
I have these, and they work. By the end of the day they can be annoying...I often rip them out of my shirt on my way home. :)
I often sacrifice good fit in a bra for one that has enough padding to hide the high beams I have developed in the last few years. I HATE the high beams.
How are they annoying. Do they cause nipple chafing (being a runner and seeing all those men with bloody nipples leads me to ask this question). Can you feel them in there all day long?
When I was an 18 year old freshman in college, I lived with my aunt for one semester. She was going to a fancy party and had a dress that she couldn't wear a bra with (this was also 1971, so I don't think she wore a bra at all). About an hour before she and my uncle had to leave, she was in a panic because of the headlight effect. So, I got sent to the drugstore to buy some kind of tape for her to use... I swear, I will never forget this, because I was so amazed that she was worried about this.
I have always had high-beams, and I hate it. All my bras are padded/contour, same with my bathing suit tops. I can't buy anything I can't wear a real bra with. I love the idea of these concealers on occasion so I could actually wear a little cami with a shelf bra and no real bra. I'm not that large so could get away with it in casual situations if I could lose the high beams (and mine care naught about the temperature out. 95 degrees? Check!)
Those of you without high-beams have NO idea!
thanks for answering that. I think I'm going to try a pair. I can't tell you how many times I've wished for something like this (and even tried to make my own with no luck). :)
I have always had this issue and didn't realize some people don't. Padded sports bras are a blessing for this reason alone, let alone making me look like I actually have a bust line.
But, if you have to wear this product with a bra, what good would they do me when I am wearing a sports top with a shelf bra? Something that sticks to my skin would work better. I have taken to wearing a strapless bra under my regular camis with shelf bras. I *do* wear my Terry Eurohalters quite frequently for running and yoga, as well as cycling and I try not to think about it... hoping the pattern on these tops obscures the headlights.
Headlights seem to matter to only some nations in this world and I'm happy I don't live in one of them....
