Nine Months
Months... Nine of them. Long enough for a woman to grow a new life inside her. Long enough for several seasons of change to have come and gone.
It's been nine months since I took my first pedal strokes and learned to ride a bike at the age of thirty-five. I turn thirty-six in just under a month and reflect for a brief moment for all the steps I've made in coming this far and the joy I feel as my confidence grows each and every time I throw a leg over the bike.
Thanks so much to the wonderful TE friends! Looking forward to the next nine months and the possibilities the future holds

Hi Shannon and happy 9 months anniversary! You're a testament that it's never to late to learn something new. I still remember the day when I was a child when I learned how to ride a bike! I remember the thrill and the feeling of accomplishment I got, and I imagine that your feelings might still be fresh. That's great and I hope that you have years more cycling ahead of yourself! Cheers.

I feel as if I've been learning with you, and you've been both a partner in learning and an inspiration. Thank you!
