My mother's from Odawara! My aunt and cousins are still there.
My mother she left for Japan on Monday and said the plane was EMPTY. Life in Nagoya seems to be normal.
I think one needs to realize that there is elevated level of radiation, but we live in a world full of radiation. Most of the stuff that are "contaminated" have to be consumed in bucketfuls to be of any harm.
