If bike paths/trails existed: going back in time

I bumped across bike route maps on the Internet for a city I grew up in southern Ontario, as a kid and teen. I also went to university for first 2 years before transferring to a different one out of town.

It's strange to look at these bike maps now and think: if only these bike routes had existed back then I might have done way more cycling. Back then, there were no signed bike routes anywhere.

It feels like wierd, looking at a very familiar place that is being transformed --alot.
