And still out there doing 'dangerous driving'. Taking away the license does no good. Better to take away the vehicle and/or opportunity to drive. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the cyclists.
This recently happened in Michigan. Another 'dangerous driver' out on the roads. Check out her past driving record :eek:

Yeah, in addition to taking away their license, the cops and courts need to impound any vehicles such idiots own.
I have friends that took matters in their own hands. One of their friends got her 3rd DUI, so my friends drove over to her house, and took her truck. She already had a bike for recreational purposes, which became her main mode of transportation.
I hope this story continues to get English-language news coverage, as I'll be interested to see how things play out, charges/sentence-wise, in a country other than the US.
ick how horrible. I have a cyclist cousin that lives close to that area. But I think he never rides on the highways. oops, it wasn't a highway, it was a 2 lane road.
