Bad day, got up for work, slipped on the stairs(one of the dogs left a ball on the stairs). Broke my ankle, having surgery tomorrow. Off work for 8-12 weeks. Already bored. Admitted to the hospital, here till Saturday. I work here at the hospital, so all my work buddies have been coming to visit - made the day go by.

Oh no! Fingers crossed for an uneventful surgery and good recovery!
When I broke mine, I spent a week on the couch. Bored out of my mind. Hopefully you can find something to alleviate that too. (TV? Books? Youtube videos that are good for a laugh?)

When I had shoulder surgery, I upped my netflix subscription to 5 at a time for one month. Well worth it!

Thanks for the warm wishes everyone. I'm not good(and used) to not doing anything. I do have a Netflix subscription, but a WII to stream Netflix on, bought a bunch of DVDs on Black Friday. I'm sure I'll be spending many hours on the internet aka TE.
My foot is twinging in sympathy for you, haven't ever had a broken ankle but did have reconstructive foot surgery - take care of yourself! I read a great deal, watched movies and did needlework. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
