What words mean?
Is there anywhere on this forum a sticky-note or something about the meanings of all these words, etc.? I can't find anything. I need to know what clipless means? What is that? I feel like such a dork asking but common words/usages may be of help to new folks. Thanks!

Now this term is the silliest thing ever.
"Clipless" mean that you have cleats on the bottom of your shoes that clip onto clips on your pedals.
It's a long history why you "clip" into "clipless." Originally pedals had cages on the toes which were called "clips." So toe cages are "clips" and "clips" are called "clipless". Kinda nutty.
Look up wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_pedal. It explains it.
