I'd forgotten how much work that was.

I used to fence, then school got too busy to allow me to get to practice and eat.

For no good reason, I put on the closest pair of shoes I possess to fencing shoes and tried some of the footwork after two years of not doing any. I got through maybe three songs on my iPod before I had to call it quits, and my legs are sore. I think I'm going to have to do this more often. Bonus: it's good for the core too.

I also think it's funny that while my form is (considering) pretty good when leading with my right leg and hand, the left has gone totally to pot.

The real question is: Could you walk down the stairs the next day?

Your mention of form reminded me of a friend who met her husband in a fencing club. She admired is form - and also the way he fenced. :) They seem happy.
