Jersey's for cheap
I don't know where to start looking. A jersey was the bottom of my list of necessities when I bought my bike... I got a road bike, bento bag, saddle bag and all the stuff to change a tire, computer, shorts, gloves, helmet, hat and bottles. Whew.
Now I'm ready to start looking at Jerseys but my budget is super small. Is there a good place to buy a cute jersey for cheap or should I go with the Target knock-off of the underarmour tank for now?

What size do you wear?
Would you be interested in 2nd hand clothing?
There's always someone selling something used here.

I wear a 14/16 in clothing and my bike shorts (Terry bella) fit best in a L. I'd be very happy with 2nd hand. Especially until I decide what i really like and don't like.

TJ Max carries them sporadically in the active wear section. I picked up a Cannondale jersey there for $12.
Check out all your local bikes shops and see which ones have sales. The Trek store here I frequent has a small sale section upstairs in the back, and has a whole rack of jerseys for around $10 to 20, and shorts for $9.99. I lucked out at one shop who was clearing out stuff from a few seasons ago - I got a jacket, two jerseys, and two pair of tights for $15!
Sometimes you can find stuff at the second hand stores or craigslist.

if you are big enough for a plus size i have seen them on amazon.com for around 20 dollars but usually only in larger sizes and smaller sizes. sometimes in small and medium or large though. that's where i got most of my jerseys and i never spent more than 25 dollars for them and the normal prices for mine tend to be over 100 dollars (i really like ibex) i don't see any great deals right now but if you keep an eye out for them you might find a great deal.

If you don't care about the lack of back pockets, any wicking shirt will do.
