One day whilst standing on the beach..

I ate a ripe and juicy peach!


(chain story in rhyming couplets.... :p)

The sun was warm against my skin..

and the water looked enticing enough to jump in!

But it was wetsuit-worthy cold!

So I had no choice but to be bold!

I tippy toed towards the water and

then ran and jumped right in!

as my feet hit the bottom I felt slimy seaweed, so I knew it was Lake Washington.

So what's Nessie doing on the horizon? I didn't plan for her on my OWS.

I expected to get kicked in the head once or twice at the start, but not by a two-meter antediluvian flipper.

Nessie had been undetected by the Obstacle Warning System
I escaped her and Lake Washington and to the Gulf I swam,
My Open Water Swim was then an Oily Water Sewer.
