*raises hand* Me, me! I am also a first timer, and am similarly excited/terrified. I'm taking advantage of the holiday weekend to get in some nice long rides, though I've definitely been having some "What on earth was I thinking?" moments recently. I'm sure it'll be tons of (painful) fun, though.
Hoorah! :D I'm sure we'll both do fine. I know, I've had a couple of those "why did I decide to do this again?" moments myself, but it'll be SO satisfying to say I actually did it! :) Just a week to go now... My, how time flies!
