Washington DC has a a few Farmers’ Market Bike Clinics, providing the simplest repairs and adjustments right there on the spot. Many people don’t ride perfectly usable bikes because of very basic maintenance issues, and these free bike repairs help to get more people out riding the bikes they already have. This year they are hosting a free bike swap on April 3rd in Lamont Park in Mount Pleasant, with no registration or entry fees. Bring out your bikes and bike related stuff! The event wraps up with a talk about expanding the clinics to more locations in town".
