Pinarello FP3-Ladies

Hi, contemplating a 2009 or 2010 Ultegra Pinarello FP3. Any one out there with experience with that? Had a lovely 2007 Ruby Expert that got stolen off my locked bike rack. Thanks

No experience with this bike unfortunately...but wanted to post and say that if you decide to pick one up, I'd be really interested in hearing what you think of it in terms of ride quality compared to the Ruby.

I have no experience with the FP3. I tried both the Prince and their time trial FM1, and I was not too impressed by either one. They did not feel stiff enough, it gave me the impression that they were built more for comfort/leisure riding than for speed. Even the time trial bike was not that responsive, which is weird on a tt bike. Not a good feeling.
But then it's just my opinion and I'm not an expert - so I would recommend that you try it on a test ride before you decide.

TxDoc- you are correct.
I used to work at an LBS that carried Pinarello. They are made more for comfort. Plush ride, not the stiffest bikes. You can get a lot more for your money with another company.(say Jamis as an example).

They are pretty bikes and you pay for the name and the look of them. If you want an aggressive,stiff, responsive bike-look elsewhere.
If you want a pretty, unique bike that will be comfy for your rides-go for the Pinarello.

I test rode the FP3, and found it livelier than the Ruby, less upright geometry, but very comfortable. Tested a Jamis Xenith Femme at the same time, and the ride was very similar...one of the shop guys went out with me on the test ride, and we kept swapping bikes...his impressions was the same. The Pin cornered better, and was dead sexy - for $1500 more, comparing full list of both bikes. I loved the Pin, but I love my broken down old dog more, so the difference went to his vet bills and I'm happily riding the Jamis. I'd be happier being able to gaze at the Pinarello in all it's loveliness, but don't feel like I gave up much in ride quality or comfort.
