Smugness

Monday I got my brake pads replaced and cleaned/lubed my chain & derailleurs a bit. It cost me $20.

Tuesday my husband got an oil change and brake work on the car, and 3 new tires (4th one has been replaced recently). Cost him $460 after discounts & coupons.

To be fair, I do get free labor on my bike since I bought it at that bike shop. If I'd gotten new tires and paid for labor, the total would have been around $100 for the equivalent work that he got on the car.

Now how much will it cost to wipe the smug smile off my face...
