Lance & the Radio Shack team are training in Tucson for a few weeks. He called Tucson a "cycling mecca" with good climbs, nice flats & wide bike lanes.
So, I'll be watching for him while I'm riding. Who knows - he may need a domestique.

Let us know if you can keep up with them if you find them!
Maybe follow in the car! :p
Lucky you! Make sure to post any sightings!! :)
A friend of a friend saw them at the Saguaro National Park loop road that I ride about once a week. Not when I was there though ....
The weather has been cool and rainy today- with snow on the mountains, so they probably didn't climb up to 8000+ feet on Mount Lemmon today ;-)
I have to say- I love Tucson too, so we have that in common....
Blow him a kiss for me:D
Team Radio Shack was riding across the cover of the Arizona Daily Star this morning. Pics and an interview are here:

Interesting to see the Astana kits in the group there. ;)
The riders are still under contract with their old teams until the end of the year (most of them are from Astana) so that's why they have to keep wearing the old team clothing. It happens every year. I remember when Popovych switched from Lotto to Astana last year he still had to wear his Lotto jersey turing the training camp.
Latest news: Lance is doing a book-signing at a Tucson Borders store on Sunday at 4 pm. Guess I might have to check that out.....
I attended the book signing here in NY. Hundreds of people. I took vacation time from work and was more in the front. I got there at 9:45 and he came at 1:00. It was well worth it. The book is awesome. I have it on my coffee table.
However, they rushed us along so quickly taking our pocketbooks and any bags that I didn't get to say what I wanted. But, Lance did looked up at each person said hi and how are you doing.

Jo-n-NY,
was everyone able to get thru? I want to go, but its a 2-hour drive and I cant leave til almost 1. So if I get there by 3 will I be able to get a book and get The Man to sign it?
Well, we didn't actually smoke Lance, but saw Team Radio Shack go by this morning, and because my husband got lost from the group we were riding with, he ended up trailing, tailing and then getting into the very rear of the peleton while they were still going at a casual warm up tempo ... (not to say the DH didn't have to work hard- 5 miles to catch up after he made the decision to go for it!)
