I'm still a spectator...today was my 3rd race watching, learning, and getting psyched to try it in 2010. I forgot my little freebie Velonews cowbell, darn. But after chatting briefly with the race starter during a lull, he asked if I'd ring the final lap bell for the SM55+, SW35+, and SW4 (my) group. THAT was fun -- I got to see some amazing smiles!
