I would like to see what the trails are like in your neck(s) of the woods. Do you have some awerrrsome singletrack that brings a smile to your face or a grimace?
Post yer pics. (I shall take some dis weekend..)

I pretty much do my mtb'ing at one of two local (Maryland) parks: Rosaryville or Schaeffer Farms.
Schaeffer is a bit more technical than Rosey (as we call it), but Rosaryville is a hoot for just going out in the woods and playing.
Here are some shots at Rosaryville from last fall.

Ms Yellow will be here end of next week, video camera in hand. I'll do my best to get it aimed at her.
Last night we had this on the menu:

needless to say I carried the bike in those places.

Wow I wish I could ride in the woods.
Sorry no pics but I have a video I found on youtube. Warning: might make you dizzy. This is one of my favorites but it is a killer.

I'll post some photos of Sycamore Canyon in Riverside, CA by the weekend. I have a nice pic of a sunset there, but that's about it! (What can I say? Southern California sunsets are so beautiful.... it's the smog! :p)
but it destroys the land...
Finally managed to get photos. Took this photo this morning on my ride. This is Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park (Ecological Preserve) in Riverside, CA. The photo is of a wider section that goes over the creek, such as it is. (The creek is a trickle of water right now). This spot kind of looks like fire road, but really isn't. I'll need to remember to get pix in other spots, I just happened to be resting in the shade here.

I these online. I do this race every year. This bridge is infamous. I don't think it would be too bad once you get going on it, but the approach is about 15 feet of powdery sand which makes it really difficult.
OMG! I'm not sure I would be able to WALK across that bridge, let alone ride it! Talk about a wipe out.
If you're ever in MI, I'll take you out for a ride. It's part of a 14-mile loop--known as the big "O". ;)
