bike parkour!!
Ryan Leech, is a cool guy. Methinks Dan is imitating Ryan. Leech is a professional trials mountainbiker who gets paid for his tricks now on the international circuit. He lives in a suburb outside of Vancouver, but is revered by internationally by the Mtb & trials community.
He also did a cross-Canada roadshow for schoolchildren with his tricks, but gives a friendly message to kids about perseverance and trying hard at something that one loves to do.

I saw this guy perform last week in a meeting rm. where he jumped his bike over 2 people lying down on the carpet.
He's pretty cool since he practices yoga..to save his back and has no problems telling the whole world about it. He wants to hold yoga sessions at the next Interbike. :) He is also working towards teaching yoga.
Since we're not part of the mountainbiking community here, I had no idea of this local, famed talent.
Wow, that's cool!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4K3w7...e=channel_page Leech really is a master. This is probably a famous video within the MTB international community where he does his incredible daredevil stuff in a old growth tree area on the “North Shore”..that refers to city of North Vancouver which is where you normally see the mountains backing the City of Vancouver in tourism photos.
He considers this ride stunt performance one of his most challenging.
I gotta say Leech makes it look a lot harder than MacAskill. MacAskill makes it look like the bike is an extension of his body, like there is no thought going on, just pure in-the-momentness. Plus, I like the guy working with what "is" in the urban environment. And plus the soundtrack is really good;) Trials riding is impressive, whoever is doing the tricks. Great vids. Thanks.
Wholly crap... That was freaking awesome and +1 to what Margo said about MacAskill.
Some of Danny's moves remind me of a figure skater! Cool stuff, but I can't imagine what his knees/other joints are going to feel like in 20 years...
I saw the movie referenced. RL built this amazing stunt trail in an old growth forest that was to be logged, and worked on the course for days until he nailed it. They filmed it and then the loggers came.
