it's official, I'm doing the Empire State AIDS ride

:D :D Your support and encouragement made a difference. It's official. I spoke to the team captain today and signed up online this afternoon.

Hey, how can it be raining :( when I need to train???? Oh well, signing on so late (filling in for team riders who had to drop out), I've got lots to do even on a rainy day.

thx for your great suggestions trek420. I increased my activity level in the last week while I was trying to make the decision and I notice the same old sore spots cropping up. You're right, now is the time to address them. I told the organizers that I'll need ice packs every evening for this 47 year old body.

I'm psyched. I'll be searching old posts for tips and advice. All suggestions welcome!!
