It's in the book, "100 things to see before you die." If you aren't familiar, Mackinaw Island in Michigan has no motorized vehicles--only horses and bicycles. There's an 8 mile loop around the island along with lots of other "touristy" things to do. I rented a bicycle and did one loop, lunch at the pub, then a second loop on my one-speed beach cruiser. Highly suggest it!
And they have amazing fudge. Mmmmmmm.

Yes, that is a very good time! Just make sure if you rent a bike on the island that the tires have air... :o In case you couldn't guess, I'm speaking from experience.

There are pictures of me, in my pram, in front of the steps of the Grand Hotel. I was even wearing a bonnet. :)

Oh neat! My dad took me there when I was about 13! I have pictures somewhere of me on that path with my braces and pink and purple bike and giant foam Bell helmet. :D Also YES the fudge OMG!
