I swear I was going to ride about 40 miles today. But that wind we're getting in between storms is COLD. And why is it raining now anyway? It's June. It's supposed to be 85 - 95 degrees out here in the Delta. Not 59! Geez, I should have taken my arm warmers.
I think I'm going to have some hot chocolate.
Ahh, well there is always next week.

i can sorta relate! i was supposed to ride last night after work... got home.. got changed.. had my helmet on even! wind was blowing like a sunofagun!
was doing my last minute before i walk out of the house tinkle (TMI!) and hubby commented again about the wind.. and i said "ya.. i'm not even gonna tell you what i was thinking" (cuz i knew if i told him he would say "let's"!) so he said: how about if i guess what you were thinking?" and i said "ok" and he said.. "you were thkinking of going to see batman instead of riding."
so guess what we did? yep.. i took off my cycling stuff and put some comfy clothes on and ate movie butter popcorn instead!
oh.. and the movie was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We may go see it this weekend. It's amazing how a broken arm limits what you can do.
