OK, this we all can do! No dog sitting to arrange, a leisurely coffee and breakfast, no loading the bike and gear at zero dark thirty, make your own rest stops :D;

I'm going crazy thinking about this.
I don't have rollers but I'm thinking about a 4-km loop around the highest point in Vancouver (little mountain in Queen Elizabeth Park) which involves a bit over 250 feet of climbing with every loop. That should cut the guilt of doing it on the road instead of on rollers. It would mean doing 40 loops of that.
There is a fancy restaurant at the top and with some luck I could get them to participate, collecting donations from people who get their car valet-parked.
I might also try to recruit a few more local cyclists. At the very least I should be able to twist my husband's arm. And there are always the 25-mile (10 loops) or 50-mile (20 loops) options for less ambitious folks.
I don't have a lot of time with the end of my Ph.D. being near, but I think I could pull this one.
Others with ideas? Wanting to come ride the Little Mountain Century with me? :)
THis sounds interesting but I would have to do it outside to since I don't have a trainer.
The veloway is 3.2 miles so roughly 31 times around. I am not quite sure I would be up to the 100 miles since the longest I have ridden is 20 but I could probably do one of the other options.

There is a 25 mile option. :D 7 times around and SAG the rest? ;)
Any excuse for a century! Please post here what date or weekend they decide on. I'm in

Looks very interesting...hmmmmmmmm could I really do 100 miles on my trainer???? It is in the garage and it is starting to get very warm here in Florida!
It is almost the end of April...so when is this??
Next weekend I am doing a MS 150 ride in Florida...so it needs to be soon! Or later!
If someone finds out the date...please post!
TBA. Looks like he'll announce in about a week.
And there is a 25, 50 mile option. Of course you can always take the SAG wagon (your couch :p)

I love this guy! :D
"As I believe I have mentioned before, one of my most practical superpowers is the ability to ask people to give me stuff without feeling ashamed."
Don't know if I'll be back on my bike by then, but I'll consider it. Maybe I could eeeke out 1 mile or 2.5 miles of nowhere.
Have I posted about the wonderful bracelet I received recently, made by none other than Susan (Mrs. Fat Cyclist?). If not, here's the post on my blog, with pics:
Thank you so much Susan & Fatty!!
Jobob, sign up with a promise to yourself that you'll ride 25 miles in an insanely stupid way as soon as you can! No point missing out on the fundraising part of the fun.
LOL, I love the way you think!
I learn a lot here :D
I just signed up. I'll be on a bike tour. I just reviewed my itinerary and we have 63.5 miles planned that day so I'm calling mine 100k of nowhere.
