'tis the season for a limeric thread!

There once was a tourist in Newport
A pink cruiser he rented for a day-o-sport
Against traffic he rode
Eating pie 'a la mode
Which landed him quickly on life support


I meant "limerick!"

The once was a rider in Crockett,
who could ride as fast as a rocket.
One fine day out
a hill made her shout
"That hill is too steep! "Fork it!"

Sorry, I sthink at this, but this is based on a true story...

Let's do haiku or tanka instead.

Rhyming verse in limericks is too much thinking for the day. :p

there was a young biker from boston
who would not do a race with her socks on
her bike had green tires
and she handed out fliers
but believed that socks were too wanton.

I had to run ten miles today.
My lazy *ss grumbled, "No way!"
But I put on my shoes
And ran off my blues
By thinking of it as my play!
