Hemotoma?? on sit bone

I had a small mishap over 2 weeks ago. To make a long story short I was track standing while a car was turning in front of me. As soon as she saw me, she freaked (as some drivers do when they see a cyclist) and stopped in the middle of the intersection. I was on my saddle and fell to my left. My saddle hit my right sit bone. I couldn't sit for days, the bruise was black and long (like the nose of your saddle). I am in no pain now, but have a pretty significant bump. I am dying to get back in the bike, but I am afraid I will injure myself further. I have a century in less than a month and really need to train.

Any advice.

ps. I recently got new ins and i am not sure if my 1st meeting with a dr. needs to be a large bump where is sun doesn't shine. Stupid, I know..
