I saw a trailer for it and thought it looked pretty cool, before I even knew what movie it was for.
But then I was never really into the original series. I like the movies, but I prefer TNG to the first series.
And I like Simon Pegg, who seems enough of a comic book/sci-fi nerd that playing Scotty is probably one of his dream roles.

there's so many new faces...it's so annoying..haha..What about Nimoy and Shatner? Even LeVar Burton as geordi la forge…they're irreplaceable
