Where? And it would be great if you would post a review, since I've been thinking of getting one.
Edit: Oh, yeah, I should have said how great this is! Way better than candy and flowers! I was just so darned excited that I could possibly get a St. Louis area fitting review.
We went for the side by side massage a couple of years ago.
Creepy, if you ask me.
This year, I innocently asked my husband if they made anything like a cheap version of the Garmin I can use, just to track my mileage/time in my attempt to run outside, as it gets warmer.
Yesterday, as we were watching a diamond commercial on TV, I asked what he was doing on my lap top. He said he was ordering my Valentine's present... a Garmin 100 (or whatever the number is).
So, I think a bike fitting is perfect. But, we are going out for dinner at a very authentic Italian place in the North End on Saturday.
Mr and Mrs. Aggie started a tradition of getting pizza four years ago and never looked back! So romantic, so cheap, so stress free. If we bring it home this year I am busting out the china we inherited last summer. We are mountain biking first if my legs will allow after my 8 mile run, I find it healthy and sane.
About the most romantic thing he has ever done is sent me a pajama gram- flannel pajamas! :p Trust me I love flannel pajamas, they were 100x better than the diamond tennis bracelet 2-3 years earlier.
I too would like a Garmin more than a diamond ring.
Me too. Or bib shorts more than lingere. Or a new mountain bike more than a comparably priced piece of jewelry. Or a laptop more than diamonds. :p
Silvers- Valentines should be about celebrating what makes you happy together. Biking is that for you, I think you have a perfect day planned. Then again I am very un-romantic so what do I know?
I asked for new rear cassette for my Orbea. Hubby is putting it on Saturday! I also told him no chocolates or flowers. We are going out to dinner, though. :D
Oh, and Pajama Grams rock!!
Many years ago, I sent my husband a chocolate chip cookie arrangement for Valentine's Day. I was pregnant and sat eagerly awaiting his return home with my 2 year old. He came home empty handed and we were like, "Where's the cookies?" I could almost taste them.
He had eaten a couple and then gave the rest out at work...
He learned his lesson really quickly! Of course, I chalk it up to being young (28 or so).
I like diamonds, but I like sports stuff more. Well, we ride our trainers and both sing out loud to an old Queen cd that our son used to train by.
So far it looks like we've decided to fight instead of celebrate. If we're still fighting on Saturday, I'm off to Sacramento to try and catch the Amgen start. If we're not fighting, I may let him tag along....
Sounds like you all have great Valentine plans.
V-day should be about spending time with those you love, friends, family etc.
I am riding with my friends from Anaheim to San Diego (100 miles). Boyfriend is meeting me in San Diego, we are spending the night. He will probably surf while we are there. When I told the boyfriend I was more excited about the bikeride, he laughed and said that is why he loves me and he wouldn't want it any other way.
On other V-days when I didn't have one, a group of use went for long rides and then had dinner!
Happy V-Day to all.
More innocent victims sucked into the commercial vortex that is "valentines day".
The horror...the horror...
