Ever been driven crazy by a song in yer head? Be bopped too much one day and memorized some lyrics? Headbanged too frequently?
I can't get "Great Southern Land" by Icehouse out of me head...
What about you?
Why yes, it is just you. Have you been out in the sun too long? Are you staying hydrated? Been delusional long? Let me replace that with a different song:
"its a small world afterall ......"
CC, I'm still bouncing Man from the Land Down Under since our PM exchanges yesterday! Aaaarrrrrgggghhhh!
"The Greatest Man that Ever Lived" by Weezer. The Red Album is a riot, I spend half my time singing along and half of it laughing like an idiot.
"Amber is the color of your energy." Don't know if that is the right name of the song, but I heard it on my way into work today and now I cant get it out of my head!
The last several times I've ridden, I've started hearing "lift me up, lift me up, higher now ama" (moby) on every climb... and for hours thereafter... It's driving me crazy because I'm not a popular music kind of gal.
Scientists think that a song stuck in your head is the most common hallucination. I do that all the time because I play an instrument in a lot of different groups. I must really be nuts.
Heh.
Hallucinate this
Tulip-I live in the country where women glow & men thunder...
Where Men at Work found that line is beyond me...
Beth-that's just wrong..
I'm happy to be delusional...;)
No matter what I do or how I distract myself, anytime I ride a bike up even the shortest of hills I always hear Matchbox 20s -
So I wonder how I never got the burn
And if I'm ever gonna learn
How lonely people make a life
One strain at a time and still shine
And I wonder how I never got the burn
And if I'm ever gonna learn
How lonely people make a life
One strain at a time
I know of course that they aren't singing about muscle strain, but still...
You can't always get what you want.. but if you try sometimes.. you just might find.. you get what you need...
by The Rolling stones
I hum this song everytime I read about the financial situation of this country and the world.
The song from Madagascar! "I like to move it, move it!, I like to move it, move it!" STUCK!
Baby we were born to run.......... I'm not a big Bruce fan, but thank god it's replaced Mama Mia, which I've been humming all day
cc - songs stuck in your head are called earworms.
AGH..Tulip..what have you done? I now have " I said, do you speaka my language? He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich" as my latest earworm
