Crash Replacement
Well, last month, I crashed my Ruby. The rider behind plowed into me, and his pedal (I think) gouged/damaged my downtube. Shoot, concrete is hard :o. Well, my elbow is all healed up, and my crash replacement is in so I picked it up Friday, and it went on it's maiden voyage yesterday. It's a Ruby, but the Expert this time (had the entry level Elite). I had the store transfer my stuff over to it, and I replaced the damaged 105 shifters with Ultregra SL.

Excuse the crappy picture, it was a quick grab-shot after it's first ride.
I had ridden it on the damaged Aspide saddle, then bought the Bontrager on the way home. I guess I have 90 days to see if it works for me; I will post what I find out in either the hated or loved saddles. Hope I like it, it is a very nice looking saddle.

Oh...what a pretty bike. I hope you have lots of great miles on her...

I'm sorry about your crash, but your new ride is soooooo beautiful!!! :)I hope you really have some great times together.

Ditto what the other ladies said. Sorry about the crash. That's a heck of a nice looking bike. I like the little bit of curve they put in the TT & seat stays.

Glad your okay
Aren't upgrades fun? Beautiful ride!

That's a very attractive frame!
I'm sorry you lost the prior bike, but am glad that you are healing up well.

That new frame has an awesome color scheme! Looks fast! Enjoy! (ps, yes dirt or a plump rider to land on are much softer than concrete or asphalt!) Tokie

Nice New Ride!! The InForm looks great in red. Much snazzier than my white/blue. Hrm. :)

oooh! Nice! I lost my classic 1983 Vitus road bike in a crash. I was very sad about it, but happy to be alive and talking and walking. My replacement bike is a Luna, so it all worked out. I'm glad you're okay.

All of this has me talking to my insurance agent about an endorsement on my renters policy for my bikes...
