A Little Bicycle Lunch Box

I love my Bento Box that I have attached to my bicycle on the top tube. It is so handy to carry small snack items while you are out riding. Everything is right there in front of you and you don't have to stop or reach in hard-to-get-into back pockets of your jersey.
See my story and photos on my blog. The post is titled: "A Bicycle Lunch Box"

Here is a Zip closed - Pink or Black Box

My Bento has a mesh closure flap top (velco's on the outside).
For those asking about the Pink one you can see the zipper closed type here:

It is by FuelBelt. My friend who ONLY outfits her bike and self in pink, has the pink one. She likes the fact that it zips closed, and she says rain doesn't get in it! Personally I like the non-zip -- because in the winter when I'm riding and wearing thick gloves it would be hard to unzip the zipper, I would think. The mesh flap closing one is so easy to access.
You can see a photo of it on her bike on my blog:
scoll down to the pink bike photo.

The greatest thing since sliced bread?

:D My Bento Box arrived this weekend and I just got back from a ride with it.
When I attached it to my bike, all I could think of was the 3M sticky note story, and how much I wish I had thought of this.
It provides convenient storage using "dead" real estate on the bike and I was able to put my first aid kit, my ID, my keys and garage door opener in it. Could've probably put a power bar too, but I didn't need a snack today.
It's brilliant. Sarabeth - I thank you! :)
