November 22 walks

You can walk 3 miles and stumble upon a winery?! Wow. If I lived near anything I could walk to like a good bakery or chocolatier or a winery or a restaurant I'd indulge and go broke. Good thing I live miles from these things. I save so much money.

Great photos Fredwina!
Everything over there is so.....spread out.
My right knee is acting up and I need to rest it this next week- no usual 5 mile walks, no jump roping.
But I did walk a mile into town and back this morning for breakfast in 19F degree windy weather. (Didn't even bother to check what the wind chill factor might have been.)

well, when you live in a county that bigger than 8 states (San Bernandino County is slightly smaller than the entire state of West Virginia, It goes from LA to Arizona,Nevada, and Death Valley - it;s the Largest County by land mass in the United States _ LA County beats us with people- as well as about 40 states) - it does get spread out!
Mudmucker, once upon a time, the Cucamonga valley was the largest wine producing region of the united states The Grateful Dead had a song "the pride of cucamonga" which was named after alocal brand - see http://www.insidetheie.com/cucamonga...y-wine-history or this link for more.
we still have two winerys going the Filippi or the Galleano wineries
