You can still get them. True story, my mom worked in the factory as a secretary decades ago when the company was started. She said the two men who came up with the idea appeared completely humorless and unlikely to produce something so whimsical.

Sundial, I think you could make that clock with some hubcaps, christmas lights, and scissors as a grasshopper substitute. Hmmm...
