Funny story..
When my daughter was younger and at her first piano recital, one of the better students played a lively version of Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer." When the song was over, my daughter said, "Wow, she played almost as good as the ice cream truck!"

I think the ice cream vans down here don't play musique..

I noticed this summer that it was the ice cream truck catering to the hispanics that played Christmas carols (it was *incredibly* annoying). The other one played rap (even *more* annoying). Ah well, the slurpie vehicle is a little made-over electric golf cart, with no music...
Oh lord! Our neighborhood is so whitebread it isn't funny. The entire town is. I love Bend except for its lack of diversity. I grew up as the minority (only causcasian on my high school tennis team) and it is very weird to have the opposite now.Quote:

I haven't seen an ice cream truck in years. My husband has a bike ice cream vendor come into his nursery, he only sells Mexican Branded ice cream from his ice cream trike but I never asked if he played music.
