Lots o' people are saying they're going to start the six week challenge this week but no one has volunteered as the PUS for this group.
Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
I'll send it to the fabulous volunteer.:D

What's involved, exactly? Is it pretty much plug in the numbers and play, or would I have to know something tech-y?
You know Excel basics?
Do you have any place public to post it (like google docs)?
I can do some VERY VERY basic things with Excel - we're just summing columns, right? I can do that. I have a Google account, so I guess their help files will explain the rest.
Tell you what. I'll make a copy of the spreadsheet and put it on my google docs and give you access. Then I can help if something, ahem, happens.:p
That work?
PM me your email address
Oakleaf,
Let me know if you start a spreadsheet...I will be doing day one of week one tonight!
Sorry I don't think I can take on maintaining the spreadsheet.
Also, do we need a new thread to officially kick off the 9/08/08 starting week group?
If we don't get a group going, I still plan to do it and follow everyone's progress (just lurking one week behind!).
Thanks!
I'm tracking the 9/8 start group. You're on the list.
Please post your day 3 totals in this thread. Link to the spreadsheet is there too.
Thanks...looking forward to reporting day 3 on Friday!
K
I'd like to join this challenge, and will need to read all of the messages here in order to understand exactly what I should be doing. I'll catch up as fast as I can. :)
Kjay,
Go to website...pretty easy.
In summary...test yourself and see where you fall.
Pickthat column and do the pushups 3 days.
In the other thread some report each "day" ....but for recording purposes it is only day 3 that get's reported.
I think website was good and you can print out all the work outs.
I know I can do more than 10...but I think I'll start in second column. Afraid the 3rd column will be a bit more challenging and I would rather reach 100 pups and be successful!:)
Kat, it's up to you, but if you know you can do more than 10, I'd encourage you to start in group 3. I expect you'll progress quicker that way. The last set is always a max-out, whatever group, day or week; the first sets are building your base.
There's another exhaustion test after weeks 2, 4 and 5 where, if necessary, you can move into a different group.
katluvr, thanks for the info you provided. I will look for that website. At first it's all sounding a bit complex, but once I get going, am hoping the fog will clear. :)
Oak....hmmmmmmmm, maybe I will. I love the challenge and actually one thing I can do is push ups.
See I am a bit vertically challenged....so I have been told w/ a shorter body and compact center of gravity it makes it "easier" on me. That being said...I would love to flaut the fact that I can do 100 of those darn things!
I'll "think" and look at it again and maybe I will really challenge myself!
Thanks again for doing spreadsheet.
Now back to work! (darn it!)
Kat
Oakleaf, are those ants in your avatar doing pups? It's makes me laugh everytime just because of our current fixation.
