Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks!

This is going to be my third year providing bike support for the 3-day walks. As crew, I don't have to raise money, but I try each year. I will definitely be wearing the awesome pink skort I scored last year from TE!!!!

Think about joining the route safety crew on walks in your area. It's amazing how we can help when we're on our bikes!

This October, I'll be participating in TWO very special and powerful events in the fight against breast cancer. It's called the Breast Cancer 3-Day.

This year, I am doing the 3-Day in TWO cities. Washington DC, and Atlanta, GA. Hopefully, the walk in DC will make a statement to our country that we need to do more for this cause.

It's a 60-mile walk over three days to raise money for breast cancer. The net proceeds will support the combined efforts of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust (NPT) Breast Cancer Fund in their mission to fund access to care and find a cure for breast cancer. I'll be serving as a crew member on the Route Safety team, giving my all in service to the walkers for three days, on my bike to keep the walkers safe.

This year, according to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, more than 200,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer. About 40,000 will die from the disease. That's why I'm doing this - to do something bold about breast cancer.
